DANHOSTEL Sønderborg-Vollerup is „ just a great place for kids“.
Visit Danfoss Universe Science- and Experience Park and Sønderborg on the island of Als, located 30 km from the Danish-German border. Als is an island with long coastlines and many forests. It is ideal for swimming and angling, either from the coast or from boats. Good conditions for windsurfing, hiking and cycling. Sønderborg is famous for Sønderborg Castle, the Diboll Mill, and its historical centre.

DANHOSTEL Sønderborg-Vollerup is located in an 8-acre big garden. The main building was built in 1850. The building “Solgården” is from 1995 and holiday cottages build in 2002.
 
The 14 houses are divided up into a total of 50 rooms with comfortable bathrooms, all with wireless internet and some rooms with TV and DVD, 10 family room are also designed for wheelchair. The main building was originally built in 1850 as an inn, and the kitchen, dining room, lounge and bedrooms still retain their old period style.
10 cottages 42 qm - 2 x 2 beds and hems max. 6 pers. -  shower/toilet - kitchen - room with TV – wireless internet - Car free area - a sports area, a table tennis hall, mini-golf course, petanque area and a play ground with a trampoline and rope bridge, new is football play “dribble” grill terrace and 2 grill huts.
We have garden furniture, and bird cage with birds, goat yard and nose bears, rabbits and chinchilla.
 
Just a great place for kids. Danhostel Sønderborg-Vollerup open all year round.
