DANHOSTEL Aabenraa

The town of Aabenraa is central located for a visit in the southern part of Denmark. The town is located in beautiful Wally down to the inlet and surrounded with hills and Forrest. In the town there is a cosy atmosphere, old well–preserved and charming houses, and a long pedestrian street with shops, cafés, and restaurants. Not far from Aabenraa is a well–preserved stretch of the ancient road “Hærvejen”, with many relics from ancient times. A perfect  area for walking or bicycle tours.

DANHOSTEL Aabenraa “Fjordlyst” was founded in 1937. For the last years all rooms and facilities have been renewed, still having the some of the old cosy and warm atmosphere.  “Fjordlyst” is situated on a hilltop, in quiet surroundings close to the beach and Forrest, but still with a short walk to the town centre. From “Fjordlyst” there is a magnificent view overlooking the town and the estuary.
